While I'm glad that the podcast will potentially have a larger audience, I just don't see Diablo 3 making much of an impact in the console market. Diablo on Playstation (one) wasn't a success so I'm a bit cynical on the reception D3 will get. Granted, back in 1998 Diablo on PSX wasn't quite as attractive with sales topping out at 2.5 mil for PC/PSX (but mostly for PC).

So I guess we'll have to wait and see? It should be playable at PAX East next month which should give us a better idea as to the reception it might receive. BUT, there's no date ... will we not see it until the PS4 is upon us late this year? And how will Blizzard handle patches with the console version? Same day? Fortunately Sony isn't as much of a dick when it comes to software updates as Microsoft is (which probably explains why they haven't announced D3 coming for XBOX 360 ... then again ... maybe they're holding off until the next Xbox is announced?)

So many questions. So few answers.
